A loose forward has been called up to the Springbok squad to provide additional cover for the Nations Championship.
Vodacom Bulls star Elrigh Louw is set to join the team on Tuesday in Johannesburg where they have been preparing for Saturday’s clash against England at Ellis Park.
Louw played the last of his 13 Tests against Wales in November 2024, and spent most of the 2025 season on the sidelines after suffering a serious knee injury.
However, he made his return from injury this year and featured prominently for the Bulls as they reached the URC final.
His performances earned him a call-up to the Springbok alignment camps earlier this year and he will be hoping to get a run in what is a massive year for Springbok rugby leading up to the World Cup in Australia next year.
