Speedster Cheslin Kolbe is among Springbok boss Rassie Erasmus’ concerns going forward in the Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry series.
Kolbe was not named in the Bok match 23 for the second Test in Cape Town after sustaining an injury in the 33-16 defeat at Ellis Park.
On Saturday night, Erasmus was confident Kolbe had just been suffering from cramp. However, on Monday he revealed the problem was more serious than initially thought.
“With Cheslin, it was more than just cramps, so he’s an amber at this stage,” Erasmus said. “It’s not even the hamstring anymore now, it’s a bit of the ankle as well.”

The Bok coach has not completely ruled out the Stormers speedster making an appearance on Saturday.
“It might be a late change with Cheslin. If he really recovers well, we might make a change there, but at this stage I don’t think it will be,” he said.
Loose forward Ben-Jason Dixon, scrumhalf Grant Williams and utility back Canan Moodie are also on the injured list.
“Unfortunately Canan pulled a hamstring and Grant picked up an ankle injury [in the first Test],” Erasmus said. “Ben-Jason has some concussion symptoms that he picked up last week.”
