Bosch headlines major Bulls signings

The Bulls have confirmed the signing of Springbok flyhalf Curwin Bosch on a three-year deal.

Bosch will arrive at Loftus in July after his stint in France, handing Bulls coach Johan Ackermann another proven playmaker as the Pretoria side continues to build for the future.

The 27-year-old headlines a raft of new signings announced by the Bulls as they strengthen their squad for the next three seasons.

Also joining the Bulls is former Junior Springbok speedster Thaakir Abrahams, who returns to South Africa from Munster on a two-year contract.

One of the country’s most highly rated young talents, Luan Giliomee, has signed a three-year deal. The 19-year-old made his Vodacom URC debut for the Sharks earlier this season, although he is regarded primarily as a flyhalf.

The Bulls have also added former Junior Bok fullback Hakeem Kunene on a three-year contract, while Griquas wing Dylan Maart and Pumas outside centre Sango Xamlashe will join after the Currie Cup. Xamlashe has signed for two years.

JAN: Retirement decision ‘gnawed’ at me

Bosch’s arrival gives the Bulls another experienced option at flyhalf and fullback, with his tactical kicking game and goal-kicking accuracy set to add significant firepower to an already formidable squad.
