The Springboks will be keeping a close eye on the All Blacks when they face the Sharks in Durban on Tuesday as they look to gain valuable insight ahead of the opening Test.
The All Blacks were pushed by the Stormers in their 38-21 win in Cape Town last Friday, and will take on the Sharks and Vodacom Bulls this week ahead of the first Test against the Boks at Ellis Park on 22 August.

For Rassie Erasmus and his men, Tuesday’s clash provides an opportunity to get a good look at the All Blacks’ likely Test team before the two sides go head-to-head.
“We’ve gotten out of the game what we wanted to get out of it, and now it’s full focus on the All Blacks series,” said utility back Canan Moodie after the Boks’ hard-fought 17-10 victory over Argentina in Buenos Aires on Saturday.
“They’ve already played against the Stormers and have another match coming up against the Sharks, so we’ll be dialled in to whatever they’re doing and prepare as best we can.”

The Boks will also take plenty of confidence from the way they negotiated a bruising Test against Argentina, with Moodie praising the team’s ability to stick to their systems under intense pressure.
“The coaches prepared us well for what was to come. Many of the boys hadn’t played in Argentina before but we knew it was going to be hostile,” he said.
“We just stuck to our guns and our systems, and that won us the game. We showed a lot of character but our system was there backing us against the fatigue and the long ball-in-play and hostile crowd.”
