Cassper Withdraws His Support For Rick Ross Over Domestic Violence Allegations. Cassper Nyovest has made his position on the allegations against Rick Ross clear, saying the American rapper has lost a fan in him after model and luxury real estate agent Jazzma Kendrick accused him of physically abusing her.
Taking to X, Cassper said he can no longer support Rick Ross following Kendrick’s claims. “Rick Ross just lost a fan in me. I can’t rock with nighas who beat women. That’s low vibrational and dumb nigga activities,” Cassper wrote.
The comment came after Kendrick shared photos on Instagram showing what appeared to be an injured and swollen lip. She captioned the post, “The day Rick busted my lip, and the day I left,” while also responding to a compliment about her appearance by claiming Ross “saw a punching bag.”
Nyovest reinforced his stance, making it clear that he believes violence against women cannot be justified regardless of the circumstances. “Beating a woman is NEVER EVER the way. No matter what the story is. I can’t rock with that. Well, that’s me personally,” he said.
His comments quickly drew significant attention online, with some social media users applauding the Doc Shebeleza hitmaker for speaking out against gender-based violence. Others, however, questioned his stance by bringing up his previous support for Chris Brown, who has faced longstanding scrutiny over a documented history of domestic violence.
Nyovest did not appear interested in backing down amid the criticism, responding to detractors in another post with his usual confidence.
Ross, meanwhile, has denied Kendrick’s allegations. In a statement circulating online, the Aston Martin Music rapper claimed that he “never laid a hand on Jazzma Kendrick.” He alleged that her injuries came after she fell down a staircase while wearing high heels and having had alcohol.
Ross also said he helped care for Kendrick following the incident and maintained that he does not assault women. “The Boss don’t put his hands on women. Period,” he stated.
The dispute is notable given Nyovest’s previous interactions with Ross. The two rappers have crossed paths publicly before, including an occasion years ago when Nyovest helped translate a Setswana tweet for the American star.
Nyovest has also recently used his social media platforms to speak out against conduct he considers unacceptable, including criticism directed at local podcast hosts over comments concerning a slain athlete.
