Clout Cassette Drops A Bold Take On Cassper Nyovest: “Why Would I Want to Be Like You?” In a raw and unfiltered social media post that’s sending ripples through the South African hip-hop community, Morale, founder of Clout Cassette, aimed none other than Cassper Nyovest. Known for his candid and no-holds-barred style, Morale didn’t hold back in expressing his complex feelings about the megastar rapper.
With a mix of humour and harsh critique, Morale opened fire on Cassper, calling out what he perceives as a toxic pattern: using and disrespecting the youth, only to flip the narrative and claim they’re the ones exploiting him for promotion. “My nigga, why would I want to be like you… you act like a 12-year-old who just got gifted 50k,” Morale wrote, striking a tone that blends disbelief with mockery.

He hinted at controversial statements Cassper allegedly made about exploiting youth through his alcohol brand, though he stopped short of outright accusation without proof.
Perhaps the most striking moment came when Morale revealed that he once reached out to Cassper for mentorship — a move he now looks back on with some regret. “I was dizzy. The jig is up,” he admitted, signalling a turning point in his view of the superstar.
Ending on a pointed note, Morale said he deliberately kept quiet about certain things to avoid stirring drama with mutual acquaintances, but believes that Cassper’s true nature will eventually reveal itself to everyone.
