Fireboy DML in his latest interview session on X, has opened up on why his new album, Zuko had a very few number of features on the project.
Nigerian singer Fireboy DML has explained why his latest project, ZUKO!, features no guest artists, revealing that his initial plans for collaborations did not work out as expected.
Speaking about the project, the singer said he genuinely wanted it to be collaborative but ultimately decided not to force any features when the intended connections failed to materialise.
βIt just didn’t work out, I swear to God. And I just felt like that’s how it’s meant to be for this particular project. I genuinely wanted it to be very collaborative but it just didn’t work out. I don’t force vibes,β he said.
According to Fireboy, the absence of guest appearances was not necessarily the original plan, but rather how the project naturally came together.
