FLVME Thanks Fans As “BLVCK & WHiTE” Album Enjoys Lasting Momentum. FLVME has taken a moment to salute the fans who continue to keep his music in rotation, reminding everyone that behind every stream, replay and late-night listen is an audience helping fuel his journey.

The South African rapper and producer shared the heartfelt message on X on Sunday, writing, “Jus wanna thank everyone supporting and playin the music consistently … wouldn’t be here without y’all .”

The black-and-white hearts were a fitting touch, reflecting the title and identity of his latest album, BLVCK & WHiTE. Released in August 2025 through New Regime Sound and The Valhalla, the 21-track project has continued to make noise well beyond its release.

Largely self-produced, the album features a heavyweight guest list that includes Zoocci Coke Dope, 25K, Die Mondez, Young Stunna and Westside Boogie. Across its tracks, FLVME explored themes of duality, identity and personal growth, blending his sharp rap delivery with the melodic instincts that have become a signature of his sound.

The project has since accumulated millions of streams and strengthened FLVME’s position as one of the prominent independent voices in South African hip-hop.

His journey to this point has been anything but overnight. Born in Vosloorus in 1999 and raised around the Johannesburg area, FLVME started recording music while still a pre-teen. He eventually left school in Grade 11 to pursue music full-time, building his name through collectives, collaborations and a steady run of releases.

Projects such as CandyMan, GERMANDER II and NOTE TO SELF helped establish his reputation for combining lyricism, production and melody. With BLVCK & WHiTE, he has continued pushing that creative identity while attracting further recognition from the local industry.

Now, as the album continues to live beyond its initial release, FLVME’s latest message puts the spotlight where he believes it belongs: on the people who keep pressing play.

In a music landscape where attention can disappear as quickly as it arrives, consistent support can make all the difference. For FLVME, every stream and every listener is part of the reason the music continues to move.

And judging by his message, he has not forgotten who has been there for the ride.
