Canan Moodie will start on the left wing for the Vodacom Bulls against the Dragons in Newport on Friday night.
With Kurt-Lee Arendse (dislocated finger) and Cheswill Jooste (foot) ruled out through injury, Moodie shifts from 13 to 11 and David Kriel from 15 to 14.
Devon Williams starts at fullback, with Stedman Gans coming in at outside centre.
In the pack, Cobus Wiese starts in the second row, with Ruan Vermaak moving to the bench, where loose forward Mpilo Gumede replaces Jeandré Rudolph.
Paul de Wet comes in for Zak Burger as scrumhalf cover among the substitutes.
The Bulls are eighth on the URC log, while the Dragons lie a lowly 15th.
