Ireland Women dominated the final quarter to beat the Springbok Women in Saturday’s WXV Global Series clash at Athlone Stadium in Cape Town.
The hosts led 17-14 with 20 minutes remaining, but Ireland’s experience and attacking quality proved decisive as they pulled away to secure a 38-17 victory, having won 40-27 last week.
The Bok Women made a dream start when scrumhalf Unam Tose scored from a powerful lineout drive in the second minute.
Ireland responded with converted tries from flank Erin King and winger Beibhinn Parsons, while winger Alichia Arries was yellow-carded for a dangerous tackle.
The Bok Women hit back just before half-time when flank Sizophila Solontsi crossed in the corner following another driving maul, reducing the deficit to 14-10 at the break.

Ireland capitalised on their numerical advantage, with centre Aoife Dalton crossing for a converted try to extend the lead to 26-17.
Parsons then completed her hat-trick in the 73rd minute before Dalton added her second try in the 79th.
