Jay Jody Announces Forthcoming Single “Be About It” Jay Jody is preparing to reconnect with his loyal Tr!be with a new release titled Be About It, marking his latest musical offering after a period of activity across collaborations and other projects.

The Revenge Club Records co-founder shared the news on Tuesday, greeting his supporters with his familiar “Dumelang!” before revealing that he has missed connecting with them and promising something new this Friday.

“I’ve missed you! However the good news is that we get to re-connect this Friday, the 25th I have something to share with you. See you then! ,” he wrote.

The announcement was accompanied by artwork for Be About It, featuring a close-up image of Jay Jody wearing a light blue hoodie against a bright yellow background. The project title appears prominently across the artwork in bold black lettering.

Production credits on the artwork name Superium Beatz as the producer, while Jay Loopz is credited with post-production. The upcoming release follows a period in which Jay Jody has remained active through collaborations, including his Cool&Blak work with Blaklez, while continuing to build on the body of work that has established him as one of Pretoria’s distinctive hip-hop voices.

Known to affectionately refer to his supporters as the “Tr!be” or “MY Tr!be,” Jay Jody has built a direct relationship with his audience throughout his career.
