As he gears up for his album release, K.O has been keeping fans on edge by dropping a series of singles. He’s already served up tracks featuring Maglera Doe Boy and Nasty C, and he’s set to keep the momentum going with a new release this Friday, featuring Usimamane.
Speaking during an interview on SlikourOnLife, K.O shared that he is not yet done collaborating as he is mapping a way to jump on a joint with the young and energetic group The Qwellers. This comes after he was asked whether he’s being intentional by working with Durban rappers such as Blxckie, Nasty C and Usimamane.
“Of course it’s intentional, I think I might also have some going on with The Qwellers. I think I just love what Durban’s got going on right now. KZN as a whole, especially for hip-hop because we have been on the back foot for quite a minute and it looked like the Pitori guys were charging the motion for a minute. I love the fact that it’s now KZN,” K.O said.
“Some couple years ago we saw the Free State guys coming up with some vibes, so I just love seeing these spirits of energy are spreading around the country. Let’s see who’s got next,” he added.
