The rapper made the revelation during a conversation with Touchline on Say It With Your Chess, presented by Skipper Bar, in the second episode of the series. When Touchline asked when he was last in the studio, Kid X admitted that the question caught him off guard because he could barely remember his most recent session.
“It’s a good question. That’s scary. I can’t even remember when the last time. Like genuinely, genuinely, I’m trying to think, when was my last session?” Kid X said.
After thinking it through, the veteran rapper remembered that his most recent studio appearance was with DJ Capital and Psyfo, where the trio were working on a new record. However, Kid X stopped short of revealing exactly what they were creating, explaining that the song is connected to DJ Capital.
“Oh yes. I was in the studio with DJ Capital. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Psyfo. And we were working on a record. Ah, let me not reveal it, because it’s a Capital record,” he said.

“You know, but we were… There’s a bit of nostalgia that we were tapping into,” he added.
