Lordkez’s “4Sho” Cracks SA Radio Top 20 As She Celebrates First-Ever Double Airplay Milestone. Lordkez is having another big moment on South African radio, and this time, she is celebrating a milestone she has never experienced before.

The Kimberley-born R&B star has revealed that her latest single, “4Sho”, featuring hip-hop heavyweight Kwesta, has entered the Top 20 among South African artists on radio charts. The achievement comes as Lordkez continues to build on the incredible momentum surrounding her music.
Taking to Instagram to share the news with her “Gemz”, Lordkez could barely contain her excitement as she revealed that she currently has two songs receiving radio play at the same time.
“Aweh Gemz!
this week my new single ‘4Sho’ entered the top 20 SA artists on the radio, and this is the first time in my life I have 2 songs on radiooooooo
,” she wrote.
The achievement adds another major highlight to Lordkez’s growing career, particularly following the massive run of “Aweh”, including its Cassper Nyovest remix, which became one of the standout radio records of 2025. The song enjoyed an extended run at the top of the charts and generated significant airplay across South African stations.
Now, “4Sho” is carrying that momentum into a new chapter.
Released in late August 2026 through Stay Low, the collaboration pairs Lordkez’s nostalgic R&B sound with Kwesta’s unmistakable lyrical style. The record further showcases the artist’s ability to move between contemporary sounds and the retro-inspired influences that have become part of her musical identity.
The single also arrives after a string of career highlights, including her COLORS Show performance of “Wena Fela” and continued recognition for her work. Its accompanying music video, directed by Fred Kayembe, has also been gaining attention since its release.
But Lordkez was not only celebrating the chart movement. She also took the opportunity to connect with her international fanbase, asking her supporters to reveal where in the world they are listening from.
“ALSO …. let me know which part of the world you’re listening from – I wanna see sumn real quick,” she added.
And then came the line that has fans looking beyond “4Sho”.
“(Album coming soon).”
For an artist whose journey has stretched from early projects such as Charcotta and midsummer to the acclaimed Testament, which earned her a SAMA for Best R&B/Soul Album, and You, Me & The 90’s, having two songs on radio simultaneously represents another significant step forward.
Lordkez has steadily carved out a lane of her own by blending nostalgic R&B influences with modern South African sounds, and the latest radio milestone further highlights the growing reach of that approach.
With “4Sho” continuing to make its way up the airwaves and fans around the world answering her call, Lordkez appears to be entering yet another exciting phase of her career.
And if her album teaser is anything to go by, the Gem of the Charts may have much more in store before the year is over.
