Lowfeye’s KWAMAKHULU Johannesburg Show Draws Strong Demand. Lowfeye is calling on Johannesburg fans to secure their tickets as his highly anticipated KWAMAKHULU live series prepares to open this Friday.
The rapper shared a new ticket update on Instagram, thanking supporters for backing the intimate live experience. “Siyabonga,” Lowfeye said, while reminding fans that tickets are still available through the link in his bio.
(@lowfeye__)The Johannesburg show takes place on Friday, 9 October 2026, at Da Valt on Marshall Street in Marshalltown. Doors open at 17:00, with the programme running until 23:00. Tickets start at R150 via Computicket.
Lowfeye will bring a live-band setup to the stage, performing material spanning different points in his career, including the Mfana kaMakhulu and Imibuzo eras, Days Before NOSANGE and his 2026 debut album, NOSANGE.
The growing demand has now pushed the Johannesburg show to 80% sold out, leaving only a portion of tickets available ahead of opening night.
KWAMAKHULU was announced as a three-city live series created for the supporters who have followed Lowfeye from his early underground days. After Johannesburg, the series heads to The Bat Bistro in Durban on 30 October before concluding at 20 Lifestyle Lounge in Dundee on 11 December.
For Lowfeye, the shows offer an opportunity to revisit the music that helped shape his journey while performing it in a more intimate setting. The concept also gives his longtime supporters a chance to experience his catalogue in a live-band environment.
With Friday’s Johannesburg date now just days away, fans who have yet to secure tickets will need to move quickly as the first KWAMAKHULU show edges closer to a full house.
