Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk could be heading for a temporary move to another Premier League club before the summer transfer window closes.
The 25-year-old has attracted interest from several Premier League sides after recently returning to competitive football following the resolution of his long-running suspension. Chelsea are reportedly keen for Mudryk to get regular first-team football, with a loan move viewed as the best option for his development and recovery.
Leeds United had emerged as one of the strongest candidates, but Chelsea have now rejected a second approach from the newly promoted side and reportedly ended discussions for the time being. Brentford and Coventry City are also understood to have shown interest in the Ukrainian winger.
Mudryk himself is said to prefer remaining in the Premier League rather than moving abroad. Chelsea are therefore continuing to assess domestic options, with the transfer window remaining open until September 1.
For Chelsea, the priority appears to be ensuring Mudryk gets consistent playing time after almost two years away from competitive action, rather than permanently ending his Stamford Bridge career.
