The Springboks will reportedly head into Saturday’s Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry Test at Cape Town Stadium without veteran flyhalf Handré Pollard.
According to Netwerk24, the two-time World Cup winner is set to miss out on the second clash of the four-Test series against the All Blacks with a calf injury.

The 32-year-old is due to start based off his experience of Cape Town conditions, and Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu – named on the bench this week after starting last week’s defeat by New Zealand at Ellis Park – or Manie Libbok are in line to replace him.
Pollard’s 2026 Bok season began with a Man of the Match outing against Scotland on 11 July, before a hamstring injury sidelined him ahead of the Wales Test a week later.
His most recent outing had been in the win over Los Pumas in Argentina almost a month ago.
