Ultimate Sevens boss Barney Pascall says the door “remains open” at the new competition for England flanker Henry Pollock to pursue his ambition of playing sevens.
Pollock wants to test himself in the shorter format for a potential spot at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, and Pascall believes the opportunity is there with Ultimate Sevens.
Pascall is managing director of the competition that will begin next month with events in Madrid, Cardiff, Biarritz and London across four consecutive weekends.

“Should Henry want to get involved and do a bit of sevens preparation this year or next, that offer remains open,” Pascall told Daily Mail Sport.
“It’s a great story that high-profile players in the sport want to play sevens. If Eddie [Hearn] wants to call, I’ll be ready.”
Pollock is represented by Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Talent Agency, with the prominent sports promoter recently pushing for the Northampton Saints to significantly increase the 21-year-old’s salary to £1-million (R22-million).
