Nigerian street-hop sensation Portable has clapped back at social media critic Verydarkman (VDM) after the latter mentioned his name in an ongoing dispute involving gospel singer Mercy Chinwo.
The controversy began when VDM accused Mercy Chinwo of being dishonest in her legal battle with her former manager, EeZee Tee. The gospel singer had previously sued VDM for defamation, demanding ₦1.1 billion in damages.
Amid the drama, Verydarkman released a track titled Body of Christ, produced by Soji Star, where he compared Portable to Mercy Chinwo and hinted at featuring the Zazoo crooner on the song.
Reacting in a fiery video, Portable questioned whether VDM could afford his ₦100 million fee for a collaboration. He also criticized the social media activist, accusing him of constantly targeting wealthy individuals with his online rants.
The exchange has since sparked reactions across social media, with fans weighing in on the escalating feud.
