Prince Kaybee Says R500K Offer Won’t Get Him In The Boxing Ring With Cassper. Prince Kaybee has once again made it clear that stepping into the boxing ring with Cassper Nyovest will not happen for R500,000.
The award-winning producer and DJ responded to a fan on X after they argued that a R500,000 payout would be a fair amount for a celebrity boxing match. Kaybee quickly shut down the suggestion, explaining that the figure would barely cover the costs involved in preparing for a professional bout.
“Lol 500k will be taxed before you even use it, then you have a long list of expenses pertaining your diet, training and your overall health and fitness in preparing to fight shotpan who will be tired in the first round,” he wrote, referring to Cassper Nyovest by his nickname “Shotpan.”
Kaybee did not stop there. He mixed criticism with humour as he shared his thoughts on the rapper, describing Cassper as someone whose career thrives on “gimmicks.” He also claimed that the Doc Shebeleza hitmaker is “not a thinking tank to influence any significant thoughts of change,” insisting he does not view him as a threat. Wrapping up his remarks, Kaybee joked that Cassper simply enjoys entertaining people, adding that “TikTok was made for him.”
The latest exchange adds another chapter to the long-running back-and-forth between the two South African stars. Kaybee previously revealed that Cassper’s camp had approached him with an offer worth roughly R500,000 for a boxing match, an amount he turned down without hesitation.
He has consistently maintained that he would only consider the fight for a purse closer to R3 million, arguing that months of intense training, strict dieting and physical preparation would demand far greater compensation. Kaybee has also pointed out that he and Cassper are not in the same weight or fitness category, making the proposed matchup even less appealing.
Although fans continue to call for the celebrity showdown, Kaybee’s latest comments suggest the fight remains far from becoming reality. Unless the financial package changes dramatically, the rivalry appears set to continue on social media rather than inside a boxing ring.
