The Springboks reassembled in Johannesburg on Sunday evening after a week off following their unbeaten Nations Championship campaign.

The loosehead prop earned his fourth Test cap in South Africa’s victory over Scotland earlier this month and now has another opportunity to impress ahead of a crucial stretch of the Test season.

Erasmus is expected to name his travelling squad for the clash against Argentina in Buenos Aires later this week.

The selected players and management will depart for Argentina in two groups on Saturday ahead of the Test on 8 August.
