Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus has called up two more players to join the squad in Johannesburg as preparation for the international season intensifies.
They are Sharks loose forward Phepsi Buthelezi and Bordeaux Bègles prop Carlü Sadie.
Buthelezi, who made his Test debut against Portugal in 2024, reported for duty on Monday evening.
Sadie is set to arrive in South Africa on Wednesday after the back-to-back European champions failed to qualify for the Top 14 playoffs. The former Junior Bok previously took part in the Bok alignment camps virtually from France.
SQUAD: Rassie calls up forgotten Boks, rookies
The additions come as the Stormers contingent returned from Ireland following their Vodacom URC semi-final defeat to Leinster and linked up with the national squad on Monday.
The Boks officially began their on-field preparations this week for a busy opening to the international season. They will face the Barbarians in Gqeberha on 20 June, while a South Africa A side will take on Zimbabwe on the same day.

“It’s great to be back on the field and to see familiar and new faces in the squad,” said Erasmus.
“The excitement in the group to get the season underway is palpable, and we are looking forward to the week ahead.
“We are also pleased to welcome Phepsi and Carlü to the squad, and we are confident they will slot in with ease.”
