Springbok boss Rassie Erasmus has teased Siya Kolisi’s return for the second clash against the All Blacks in the Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry series.
Kolisi missed Saturday’s 33-16 defeat at Ellis Park after Erasmus took a precautionary approach with the double World Cup-winning captain following his recent hamstring problems.
The veteran loose forward trained throughout last week, but Erasmus opted for the 23-year-old Paul de Villiers at openside flank – his first Test start against New Zealand – for the opening tussle of the four-Test series.

The Kiwis are set to face the Lions at Ellis Park on Tuesday, before heading to Cape Town for next Saturday’s encounter.
“I thought Paul played really well,” Erasmus said after the Johannesburg defeat. “But I know Siya is back next week.
“Siya trained well with us this week, and although we could have selected him for this clash, we thought it would be best to select Paul for this weekend’s game.”
