“Happy Stiloway Anniversary. Thank you to everybody who loves and supports this project. Creating it was special, and I’m glad I got to share it with you. Ngiyabonga,” Magolide wrote on Instagram, expressing his appreciation for the listeners who have embraced the album over the past year.
Released on 22 October 2025 through TGH Serunos in partnership with ONErpm, Stiloway marked his first full-length album since Infinite Melanin in 2021. The 18-track project brought together his love for music, fashion and street culture, pairing confident production with personal storytelling and live instrumentation.
The album features Vusi Nova on “Abazali,” while Sastii and Ekow Saxx joined Magolide on the lead single “Kenny G.” Its production credits include Truhitz, Young2unnBeats, Airburn Sounds and Sean Pages, contributing to a project that captures different sides of the rapper’s creative identity.
Stiloway marked a statement of independence and growth, capturing Stilo Magolide’s journey from his beginnings to where he stands today and his ambitions for the future. The project also gave longtime supporters a deeper look into his world while introducing new listeners to his music, experiences and artistic vision.
Tracks such as “Phanda,” “Keeper,” “SHEIN Cart,” “Red Flag” and “Treated” offer glimpses into the world he has built around his music. Alongside its confident approach to style and culture, the project makes room for personal reflections and commentary shaped by his experiences.
Born Michael Chirwa, Magolide has built a reputation that extends beyond music, drawing on his involvement in fashion and street culture. His earlier association with Boyznbucks and appearances on Cream Cartel helped establish his presence within South Africa’s creative scene, where his approach continues to connect music with personal style.
One year after its release, his anniversary message puts the focus on the people who have supported Stiloway throughout its journey. The gratitude expressed in his post reflects the relationship between the rapper and his listeners, whose continued support has given the project a lasting place in his catalogue.
