South African Grammy-winning star Tyla has officially revealed the tracklist for her highly anticipated sophomore album, APOP, giving fans their clearest look yet at what to expect from one of the year’s biggest African music releases.
The singer shared the full lineup of songs ahead of the album’s scheduled release on July 24, building excitement among fans following months of teasers and the success of her recent singles. A*POP marks Tyla’s second studio album and follows her critically acclaimed self-titled debut, which propelled her to global fame with hits such as “Water.”
The newly unveiled tracklist features 14 songs, including previously released singles “Chanel,” “She Did It Again” featuring Zara Larsson, and “Is It Love.” Fans will also get to hear several brand-new tracks, including “Fairytales,” “That Girl,” “Mr Nonchalant,” and “Kiss,” among others.
Tyla has described APOP as a new chapter in her musical journey, embracing a broader sound that blends amapiano, Afropop, R&B, and mainstream pop. The project reflects her artistic growth since the release of her debut album, with the singer previously hinting that the record showcases a more confident and evolved version of herself.
