The famed lyricist continues to build anticipation for the project with a rollout that has increasingly revealed the world behind Amehlo. The new track arrives as Tyson Sybateli prepares to release the 14-track album on 22 September 2026 through Too Much To Lose. Apple Music lists “Two” as the sixth track on the forthcoming body of work.

“Two” lands at an interesting point in Sybateli’s career. Rather than treating each release as an isolated moment, the rapper has been steadily constructing a broader creative universe around Amehlo, a project described as exploring awareness, perception, digital dependency, and the systems influencing modern life.

The album’s title, which translates to “eyes” in isiZulu, points toward its central themes of observation and perspective. Sybateli has previously described Amehlo as a deeply personal reflection on the times we live in, while also situating those personal experiences within a fictional corporate world shaped by advertising, technology, and constant surveillance.

That conceptual direction marks another evolution for an artist who has consistently refused to stay inside one sonic box. Sybateli first made a strong impression with projects such as Dulcé, Eve, HOME and Present, establishing himself through sharp lyricism, introspection and an ability to move between rap, R&B and alternative influences.

His history with ambitious rollouts also makes the current Amehlo campaign feel particularly intentional. During the HOME era, Sybateli built an elaborate campaign around the number two, including the dates 2.02.22 and 22.02.22. The rollout became part of the project’s identity, with the rapper deliberately using anticipation and mystery to pull listeners deeper into the world he was creating.

That history gives “Two” an intriguing place within his latest chapter. The song is not simply another release in the lead-up to an album. It arrives from an artist whose work has repeatedly turned numbers, dates, concepts and visuals into extensions of the music itself.

Amehlo is set to feature a carefully selected group of collaborators, including Thato Saul, Filah Lah Lah, TRON PYRE, Marcus Harvey and Buzzi Lee. Apple Music’s current listing confirms “Two” among the album’s tracks, further positioning the single as part of the larger narrative Sybateli has been building.

For Sybateli, the road to Amehlo has already demonstrated that the destination matters just as much as the journey. With “Two” now adding another layer to the campaign, listeners are getting closer to seeing how all the pieces fit together when the full album arrives in September.
