Sharks XV coach Mike Vowles has tweaked his loose trio for Friday night’s Currie Cup clash against the Vodacom Bulls XV at Kings Park.
Hanu Pieterse returns at No 8, with Tino Mavesere moving to openside flank in place of Jean-Henri Smit.
The Sharks have everything to play for as they return to Kings Park for the first time in the competition, having hosted their previous home fixtures in KwaMashu and Pietermaritzburg.
The Durban-based club is seventh on the log, but just three points behind the fourth-placed Boland Cavaliers and a bonus-point victory could significantly boost their semi-final chances.
“It’s another tough one, in this Currie Cup there are no easy games,” Vowles said. “But we are looking forward to playing at the Tank. It’s a real privilege to play there. We’ll be up for it.”

The Bulls, meanwhile, have endured a difficult campaign and are bottom of the log after six defeats.
