Replacement flyhalf Ben Donaldson missed an 82nd-minute penalty goal as the Wallabies suffered a narrow defeat to Ireland in Sydney on Saturday.
That came after replacement prop Tom Clarkson had scored a late converted try to give the Irish a 33-31 lead.
Five Irish players dotted down to share the spoils and inflict more pain on an unlucky Wallabies’ side who have now lost eight of their last nine Tests.
