Andy Muirhead and Tom Wright’s second-half tries propelled the Brumbies to a 24-14 victory in Canberra, consigning the fourth-placed Reds to a fifth consecutive defeat to their Aussie rivals despite Josh Nasser’s late rolling maul effort.

In Auckland, Kyren Taumoefolau’s hat-trick inspired sixth-placed Moana to their first triumph over the Blues.
The 27-21 result saw Vern Cotter’s men slide to seventh and out of the finals spots, with skipper Ardie Savea’s late pilfer sealing the historic victory for Tana Umaga’s troops.

Meanwhile, the Force’s playoff hopes evaporated after a 38-7 drubbing by the Fijian Drua at Churchill Park.
Despite Sio Tomkinson’s early try, the ninth-placed Force couldn’t contain the Drua’s second-half onslaught led by Elia Canakaivata’s double, allowing the 10th-placed Fijians to climb off the bottom rung of the ladder.
