Head coach Dave Rennie has bid farewell to another injured All Blacks player while being forced to call up cover in the backline ahead of Saturday’s Test against the Springboks.
Loosehead prop Ollie Norris has been ruled out for six weeks with a knee cartilage injury and will return home, becoming the fourth New Zealander to leave the Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry tour through injury after George Bell, Billy Proctor and Caleb Clarke.

Crusaders scrumhalf Noah Hotham has been called into the squad, with Cortez Ratima being assessed for a knee injury picked up against the Vodacom Bulls last week.
Ratima joins utility back Damian McKenzie, winger Will Jordan and scrumhalf Cam Roigard under an injury cloud.
Rennie said he expects Jordan and Roigard to be fit for the first of the four-Test series, though McKenzie’s availability remains less certain. Neither Jordan nor Roigard has featured on tour so far.
