DJ Speedsta Drops New Single “DJ Play My Song” Featuring Kane Keid & Espiquet Ahead Of New Album. DJ Speedsta is turning up the feel-good energy with a fresh release, bringing together Espiquet and Kane Keid for a brand-new single titled DJ Play My Song.

The Johannesburg-born DJ, broadcaster and hip-hop personality made the announcement on Friday morning, sharing his excitement with followers alongside a preview of what he described as a sunny start to the day.

“Good Morning, The sun is shinning !!” he wrote before introducing the new collaboration, which is now available on major streaming platforms alongside its official music video.

Produced by Hopemasta, DJ Play My Song brings together three distinct creative voices from South Africa’s hip-hop scene. Espiquet, the Vaal Triangle lyricist known for his association with the Kandy Koated Music collective, reconnects with Hopemasta for another musical outing. Meanwhile, Kane Keid brings his melodic touch and introspective storytelling to the record, adding another dimension to the collaboration.

The release continues a career built on championing South African hip-hop and creating opportunities for artists across different stages of their journeys. Having made his mark across radio, television and music, he remains a familiar figure in the local entertainment landscape, with his gold-certified hit Mayo among the notable releases in his catalogue.

The new single also arrives as Speedsta builds on the momentum of his 2025 album 120 Ocean View Dr., with another full-length project already on the way.

In the same announcement, DJ Speedsta confirmed that his upcoming album is scheduled to drop on 27 November 2026, giving listeners another reason to look forward to the final stretch of the year.

With DJ Play My Song now out and a new album just weeks away, DJ Speedsta is keeping his musical momentum alive while bringing more South African talent into the spotlight.
