Kabamba Floors resigned as Maties head coach at the end of June, a month before his contract was due to expire.
A Stellenbosch University spokesperson confirmed Floors’ departure to Rapport. but would not explain why.
“The university regards the reasons for his resignation as confidential.”

According to Rapport, Paarl Boys’ High head coach Sean Erasmus has been identified as Floors’ successor and is expected to be unveiled in September.
Erasmus emerged as the standout candidate during the interview process and has since been offered the position, although Stellenbosch University maintains no appointment has yet been finalised.
