Stellenbosch FC coach Gavin Hunt has questioned why the touring New Zealand squad will use Athlone Stadium as a training base.
The All Blacks will train in Athlone ahead of next Friday’s opening match of the Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry series against the Stormers at Cape Town Stadium.
Hunt believes the arrangement has come at his team’s expense, with the decision forcing Stellies to move their opening Premiership home fixture against AmaZulu to Durban.

“Facilities are a big problem,” Hunt was quoted by News24.
“We basically now have seven away games in a row [because we even have to play our home games on the road]. Urgh! I don’t know!
“Something has got to be done. I mean, how can the All Blacks train at Athlone?! Anyway…”
