Rush-Awa Drop Stylish “Ntshepe” Music Video With Loatinover Pounds, Sjava & Cassper. Rush-Awa have brought together Loatinover Pounds, Sjava and Cassper Nyovest for the official music video of “Ntshepe,” giving the star-studded collaboration a fresh visual identity.
The production duo, made up of MashBeatz and DJ Sliqe, released the visuals on YouTube on 12 October 2026, adding another milestone to their growing catalogue.
Directed by Kid Kadi, the five-minute video pairs the track’s confident delivery with stylish fashion, cinematic framing and a polished street aesthetic. Kid Kadi also handled the director of photography and camera work, while Chris Ninah was responsible for colour grading. Rush-Awa served as the executive producers, bringing the visual concept together.
“Ntshepe” initially appeared as the opening track on The Mxr 8, MashBeatz and DJ Sliqe’s latest mix project. Following demand from listeners, the full version arrived on 28 August 2026, featuring three artists whose distinct styles give the record its character.
Loatinover Pounds brings his signature Pitori flavour to the collaboration, delivering catchy hooks and local-language expressions that reflect his musical identity. Sjava takes an unexpected turn with a full Spitori verse, showcasing his versatility, while Cassper Nyovest adds his commanding presence to round out the impressive lineup.
The release also builds anticipation for Rush-Awa’s forthcoming album. Following their debut single, “Lapisa,” the duo continue to explore different dimensions of their sound. While the earlier release leaned into high-energy club production, “Ntshepe” adopts a cooler, more measured approach, allowing the performers’ individual styles and lyrical delivery to take centre stage.
The track’s blend of local language, hip-hop production and contrasting vocal approaches gives it a distinct identity. With Loatinover Pounds, Sjava and Cassper Nyovest bringing different strengths to the collaboration, the song reflects the creative possibilities emerging from South Africa’s hip-hop scene.
The official video has drawn attention from fans, with reactions highlighting the chemistry between the three artists, the production quality and the standout performances. Loatinover Pounds’ hooks and Sjava’s Spitori verse have received particular praise, adding to the conversation surrounding the release.
With “Ntshepe” now available alongside its official visuals, Rush-Awa are continuing to build momentum ahead of their forthcoming album. MashBeatz and DJ Sliqe are positioning the duo as a creative force in South African hip-hop, using collaborations with established and emerging voices to expand their musical reach.
“Ntshepe” is available on streaming platforms, while the official music video can be watched on the Rush-Awa YouTube channel.
