Saracens have sacked a 21-year-old academy player following another incident, months after his nightclub altercation with England cricketers Ben Stokes and Gus Atkinson.
The English Premiership club confirmed that loose forward Totoa Auvaa had left with immediate effect after an incident in St Albans on Saturday.
Auvaa had been stood down from all club duties while Saracens investigated the latest matter.
“Following an incident this weekend, the club has determined that his conduct falls short of the standards expected of everyone who represents Saracens, both on and off the pitch,” the club said in a statement.
“We take our responsibilities to our supporters, young people and partners seriously and we remain committed to upholding the standards of our conduct expected across the club.”

Auvaa was involved in a nightclub incident in June in which a member of England’s security staff was left bloodied and required medical attention after being struck by the rugby player.
Stokes, then England’s cricket captain, and fast bowler Atkinson were also at the London nightclub.
An England and Wales Cricket Board disciplinary hearing found that the two cricketers had breached their contractual obligations but were not responsible for violent conduct. Both were made unavailable for England’s second Test defeat against New Zealand, while Auvaa was not sanctioned at the time.
Stokes returned for the deciding third Test, during which he announced that he would retire from international cricket at the end of the match.
