Tony Dayimane Counts Down To Emotional First-Ever Live Show: “This One Means Something Personal.” South African rapper and rising star Tony Dayimane is gearing up for a major milestone in his career as he officially begins the final countdown to his first-ever live concert, Big Boy Live.

With just 14 days left before the highly anticipated event, the artist took to social media to share an emotional message with fans, opening up about the nerves, excitement and gratitude he feels ahead of stepping onto the stage for such a defining moment.
“Honestly, I don’t even know how to explain this feeling properly,” he wrote. “I’m so excited and nervous.”
For Tony Dayimane, the upcoming performance represents far more than just another booking on a show calendar. The rapper reflected on his journey from recording music in small rooms while dreaming about bigger opportunities, to finally preparing for a night dedicated entirely to the supporters who helped elevate his career.
“This isn’t just another performance for me. This one means something personal,” he shared.
The artist explained that his vision for Big Boy Live goes beyond music. He wants the event to become a shared experience between himself and the fans who supported him long before mainstream attention arrived.
“I’ve spent years wanting to build something bigger than just songs, a real connection, real memories, real moments with the people who believed in me before everything changed,” he said.
Adding to the excitement, Tony Dayimane revealed that several supporting acts will also be part of the lineup, promising a high-energy celebration atmosphere rather than a standard concert experience.
“I really want this to feel bigger than just a concert. I want it to feel like a celebration of how far we’ve all come together,” he wrote.
The heartfelt post quickly resonated with fans online, with many applauding the rapper’s humility and transparency during what is shaping up to be one of the biggest moments of his career so far.
He also made sure to thank supporters for every contribution they have made along the way, whether through streaming his music, reposting songs, buying tickets or simply mentioning his name in conversations.
“To everyone that streams the music, reposts the songs, buys tickets, shows love online or even says my name in rooms I’m not in… thank you,” he wrote. “None of this exists without you.”
As anticipation continues to build around Big Boy Live, Tony Dayimane is hoping fans will turn the evening into a memorable chapter for both the artist and his growing community.
“Let’s make memories.”
